Join the hundreds who have taken action!

In the last two days several hundred people have “taken action” to save the Upper Pitt River and Pinecone-Burke Park. They have emailed Environment Minister Barry Penner and told him not to allow the Upper Pitt private power project to go forward. As well, hundreds of British Columbians have asked their local Mayors and Councillors to support a call for a two-year moratorium on granting water licenses to BC Rivers for private power production.

Please join the growing number of British Columbians who want to save the Upper Pitt River from private power development. All you have to do is take five minutes and visit the Take Back the Power website and follow the easy steps. It really only takes five minutes and will help to keep the Upper Pitt pristine and home to numerous types of wild salmon for years and years to come.
